For those of you following me, you know that I was stressing a bit about having to make a business decision and the Lord spoke to me to rest in Him. Well....I had to make that decision this week and it was clear and came easily. This morning I asked myself, "hmmm.....how did I do that so easily? Did I make the right decision?". And a light bulb went off...so to speak. I remember when I was a little girl (before school age), I lived with my father's mother "Grand". Across the field (remember, I grew up in the country), lived my mother's father who was a country Baptist preacher (Big Daddy). Well...when you ate at Big Daddy's house, you didn't just say the blessing and eat. Before you could eat, everybody at the table (and you always came together at the table for all meals) had to recite a Bible verse. I remembered this morning that it was this verse that I was taught and have recited for the rest of my life.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Now at four years old, I didn't have a clue what I was reciting, I just did what I was taught. But oh Hallelujah! what I know now!
Good Morning Saints and Happy Hallelujah Wednesday!!
