So my husband saw that the bell pepper plant was full of bell peppers and thought that he should pick them. They were green. They were well developed. A good size. That would be a reasonable thing to think that they were ready to be harvested. But…. because I had planted the seeds and knew that this particular plant was not a “green” bell pepper plant but a more colorful one, I encouraged him to give it more time. I knew what this plant was destined to be and though it “looked” like it was ready to harvest, I knew it had not reached it’s full potential. If picked too soon, we would have had a less tasteful bell pepper, not full of color and and rich tasting. Bell peppers grow very slowly and if they are red, yellow, orange or purple bell peppers, you must wait patiently for the brilliant color of the fruit to appear. As in life, we must sometimes wait patiently to reach our full potential. God has planted the seed. He knows what we are meant to be. Hold on Saints. Your deliverance is coming. Trust His process!
