Easter 2020: The day the world stood still.

Duoma.JPG

On this Easter, Resurrection Sunday, the world stood still. As I listened and watched Andre Bocelli, world renown Italian tenor, sing Amazing Grace in front of an an empty Duomo di Milano Cathedral, the significance of this moment pierced my very soul. He would normally sing to an audience of thousands, yet today he sang to an empty church, with no audience, but to millions across the world.

We stand in a period where the Lord has allowed a world reset, a calling to the true church (not the building) to return to Him. Churches all over the world, small and elaborately significant, of all faiths and denominations , stood empty. Today there was no Christian vs. Islam , no Catholic vs. Protestant, no East vs. West . ALL stood empty. What does this say to us? What are we to learn from this phenomenon? We have been called to stand still. To reevaluate and consider. To reset.

I pray that we will soon see the resurrection of a better world. The resurrection of the true church. The resurrection of hope and of love for all mankind.

Happy Easter Sunday Saints!
