When gardening often times you can have lots of blooms on your plants but just don’t seem to get the vegetables. Did you know that flowers are male and female and that you need bees to pollinate the flowers from one plant to another in order for them to develop and grow into vegetables? If you look closely at squash flowers you can definitely see male and female. Makes sense right? Who knew!??! Well, I’ve read that when your tomato plants are blooming if you gently shake the stems it will help with pollination. Hmmm…….shake them to grow them.
Well, I’ve been feeling a little “shaken” lately. Nothing major. Just a little anxiety, out of sorts and such. But this helped me to remember that sometimes God gently shakes us to grow us. It is how we respond to the shake that matters. Are you feeling shaken today? Take it and GROW !!
